Ferguson Marine recently completed a challenging project for Voe Marine, outfitting a temporary accommodation module designed by Voe Marine for plug and play functionality. This innovative unit allows for easy relocation between vessels, providing marine grade DNV approved flexible accommodation solutions.
Project Challenges and Execution
The project came to Ferguson Marine just before the busy Christmas period, requiring a fast turnaround to meet tight deadlines. The project got off to a stormy start with Storm Eowyn blowing in a slight delay to the original 22nd January 2025 delivery and start date and causing havoc around the country, further compressing an already challenging timeline. Despite this, the team worked tirelessly to ensure an on-time and on-budget completion.
Scope of Work
The Ferguson Marine Outfit Team handled:
Team Dedication and Success
To meet deadlines, team members worked seven days a week, committing long hours to ensure every milestone was achieved. Their dedication, problem-solving skills, and collaboration resulted in a successful handover on 11 March 2025.
Ferguson Marine is proud of this accomplishment and looks forward to future projects that push marine engineering and innovation.
